Terms of Service
Last updated: May 2026
1. Who You Are Contracting With
musicsupervision.io (the "Service") is owned and operated by Paola Andrea Trujillo Tapias, an individual sole trader trading as "musicsupervision.io" (the "Seller", "we", "our", "us"). By using the Service, you are entering into a binding agreement with the Seller.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform. You confirm that you are of legal age and, where you sign up on behalf of an organisation, that you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. Description of Service
musicsupervision.io is a platform designed to help music supervision professionals manage projects, communicate with rights holders, and organise licensing workflows. Some features are available on a free tier and others on a paid Pro subscription.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep it updated, and notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose; to send spam, malware, or fraudulent communications; to infringe intellectual property rights; to interfere with the security or integrity of the platform (including probing, scanning, or scraping); or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, software, and data that make up the Service are the property of the Seller or its licensors. Subject to your compliance with these terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your subscription plan. You may not reproduce, distribute, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative works without express written permission.
7. Subscriptions, Pricing & Payment Terms
The Pro plan is offered as a recurring subscription billed at USD $20 per month. By subscribing, you authorise us (through our Merchant of Record, Paddle — see Section 8) to charge the payment method you provide on each billing cycle until you cancel.
- Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price.
- Cancellation: You can cancel at any time from your profile page. Cancellation stops future renewals; you retain Pro access until the end of the billing period you already paid for. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for unused days of a period that has already started, except as set out in our Refund Policy.
- Price changes: We may change subscription prices with prior notice; changes apply on the next renewal cycle.
- Taxes: Prices may be exclusive of applicable VAT, sales, or other taxes, which are calculated and collected by Paddle at checkout.
Refunds are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and Paddle's Refund Policy.
8. Payments & Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com Market Ltd ("Paddle"). Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to billing and handles returns, refunds, and chargebacks.
The detailed terms governing your purchase — including payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics — are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms, which apply to every transaction processed through the Service.
9. Service Availability
We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Suspension & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. Sections relating to intellectual property, liability, indemnity, and governing law survive termination.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Seller shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill) arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law (such as for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Seller's country of residence, without regard to conflict of law provisions, and the courts of that jurisdiction shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes — without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
